1. Introduction
AIM FOR GOOD LIMITED ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and any other applicable data protection legislation.
We are a consulting and advisory business specialising in the organisation of charity fundraising events for corporate clients and charities. We work in partnership with licensed UK shooting grounds to deliver these events. Our role is limited to providing consulting and advisory services to our corporate clients and charities; contracts for the delivery of events are entered into between the shooting ground and the corporate client, and ticket contracts are between the attendee and the corporate client.
Please read this policy carefully. If you have any questions, please contact us using the details in Section 12.
2. Who We Are
AIM FOR GOOD is the data controller for the personal data we process in connection with the provision of our consulting and advisory services.
Registered address: Flat 3, 2 Sandy Court, Woburn Sands, MK17 8FN
Company number: 17140231
ICO registration number: ZC149680
As we act solely as a consultant and advisor to our corporate clients, those corporate clients are independent data controllers for personal data they collect from their own employees, customers, and event attendees. We are not a joint controller with our clients in respect of attendee data unless we have a specific written agreement to that effect.
3. Personal Data We Collect
We may collect and process the following categories of personal data:
3.1 Data from Corporate Clients and Their Representatives
- Names, job titles, and business contact details (email address, telephone number, business address) of client representatives and procurement contacts.
- Information provided during the course of our advisory engagement, such as event requirements, preferences, and feedback.
- Financial and billing information necessary to invoice for our services.
- Correspondence and communications exchanged in the course of our engagement.
3.2 Data from Shooting Ground Partners
- Names and business contact details of shooting ground managers and representatives.
- Operational information relating to the planning and coordination of events.
3.3 Website Visitors and Enquirers
- Name, email address, telephone number, and any other information you voluntarily provide when completing a contact or enquiry form on our website.
- Technical data including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 10).
3.4 Data We Do Not Routinely Process
Because our role is limited to consulting and advising the corporate client, we do not ordinarily collect, hold, or process personal data relating to event attendees (the individuals who purchase tickets from or contract with the corporate client). If, in specific circumstances, we are asked to assist with attendee communications or logistics on behalf of a client, any such processing will be subject to a separate data processing agreement.
4. How We Collect Your Personal Data
We collect personal data in the following ways:
- Directly from you, when you contact us by email, telephone, or via our website.
- From our corporate clients, when they share relevant contact details of their representatives as part of our engagement.
- From our partner shooting grounds, during event planning and coordination.
- Through our website, via cookies and contact forms (see Section 10).
- From publicly available sources, such as company websites and LinkedIn, for business development purposes.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR Article 6:
- Contract performance (Article 6(1)(b)): where processing is necessary to deliver our consulting and advisory services to a corporate client, or to take steps at the request of a client prior to entering into a contract.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): where processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as managing client and partner relationships, business development, fraud prevention, and improving our services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
- Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)): where we are required to process data to comply with a legal obligation, such as financial record-keeping under tax legislation.
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): where you have given clear and specific consent, for example to receive marketing communications from us. You may withdraw consent at any time.
6. How We Use Your Personal Data
We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:
- Providing, managing, and delivering our consulting and advisory services to corporate clients.
- Coordinating with partner shooting grounds in connection with the planning of charity fundraising events.
- Communicating with clients and partners about events, contracts, and service delivery.
- Sending invoices, managing payments, and maintaining our financial records.
- Responding to enquiries made via our website or by other means.
- Marketing our services to existing and prospective clients, where we have a lawful basis to do so.
- Complying with our legal and regulatory obligations.
- Protecting our legitimate business interests, including fraud prevention and the security of our systems.
6A. Event Photography and Images
We may use photographs and images in connection with our events and marketing activities. This section explains how we source and use such images and the steps we take to protect the privacy of individuals who may appear in them.
6A.1 Types of Images We Use
Images used by Aim for Good Limited may come from the following sources:
- Licensed stock photography obtained from commercial image databases, where no identifiable personal data is involved.
- Photographs provided by corporate clients, partner shooting grounds, or other organisations we work with, shared with us in connection with events we have advised upon.
- Photographs taken by professional photographers engaged for an event, or shared voluntarily with us by attendees or participants following an event.
6A.2 Identifiable Individuals
Where a photograph features an individual who is clearly identifiable and is the primary subject of that image, we will obtain that individual's express consent before using or publishing the photograph on our website, social media channels, or in any marketing materials. Such consent will be recorded and may be withdrawn at any time (see Section 6A.4 below).
The lawful basis for processing personal data in such images is consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
6A.3 Group and General Event Photography
Where photographs show groups of attendees or general event scenes in which no individual is the clear and primary subject, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that individuals within those images are not readily identifiable before we publish or use them — for example by using images where faces are sufficiently small, indistinct, or obscured. Where necessary, we will apply technical measures such as blurring to achieve this.
Where such images have been appropriately anonymised so that no individual can reasonably be identified, they fall outside the scope of UK GDPR and no separate lawful basis is required. Where any residual identification risk remains, we will rely on our legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in promoting our events and services, balanced against the reasonable expectations of attendees in a public or semi-public event context.
6A.4 Your Right to Request Removal
If you believe that an image published by us includes you in a way that affects your privacy — whether as an identifiable subject or otherwise — you are entitled to contact us and request that the image be reviewed and, where appropriate, removed or amended. We will consider all such requests promptly and in accordance with our obligations under UK GDPR, including the right to erasure (Article 17) and the right to object (Article 21).
To make a request, please contact us at: guy.latchem@aimforgood.co.uk
We aim to acknowledge all such requests within five working days and to resolve them within one month.
6A.5 Third-Party Image Sources
Where images are provided to us by third parties (such as corporate clients, shooting ground partners, or photographers), we rely on those parties to confirm that the images were obtained lawfully and that any necessary consents or licences are in place. We will not knowingly use images that have been shared with us in breach of a third party's data protection obligations.
7. Sharing Your Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it in the following circumstances:
7.1 With Partner Shooting Grounds
We may share relevant contact details of corporate client representatives with our partner shooting grounds where this is necessary for the planning and delivery of an event, and vice versa. Such sharing is limited to what is strictly necessary for that purpose.
7.2 With Service Providers
We engage trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business, including IT and hosting providers, accountancy software providers, and email service providers. These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually bound to process data only on our instructions and in compliance with UK GDPR.
7.3 For Legal and Regulatory Purposes
We may disclose personal data where required by law, court order, or regulatory authority (such as HMRC), or where necessary to protect our legal rights.
7.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, personal data may be transferred to the relevant third party, subject to equivalent data protection safeguards.
We do not transfer personal data outside the United Kingdom unless adequate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR Chapter V.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Our general retention periods are as follows:
When personal data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised.
- Client and partner contact data and correspondence: retained for the duration of the relationship and for six years following the end of the engagement, in accordance with limitation periods under the Limitation Act 1980.
- Financial and accounting records (including invoices): retained for six years following the end of the relevant tax year, as required by HMRC.
- Website enquiry data: retained for up to twelve months from receipt, unless a business relationship is established.
- Marketing contact data: retained until you withdraw consent or opt out, after which it will be deleted or suppressed promptly.
9. Your Rights Under UK GDPR
Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 12. We will respond within one month of receipt of your request. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. There is no charge for making a request, unless requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection matters, at www.ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
- Right of access: you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: you may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Right to erasure: you may ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances.
- Right to restriction of processing: you may ask us to restrict processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

- Right to object: you may object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.
- Rights in relation to automated decision-making and profiling: we do not make solely automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
- Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure. If you believe your personal data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
